Mikayla Ann-Draw-Dee · she/her · Baton Rouge, LA

My name is Micaela Andrade, and at the center of everything I do is the family I've built and the life I'm creating for them. I'm a proud mother to an amazing 3-year-old little boy who means the world to me. I would cross the ocean a million times for him, and every decision I make is driven by my desire to give him the best life possible and to be someone he can look up to. Originally from Fresno, I made the life-changing move to Baton Rouge in 2024. Since then, I've continued pursuing my goals while embracing new opportunities and experiences. I am currently majoring in Criminal Justice, working toward a career where I can serve, protect, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Helping people has always been my passion, and I am driven by a strong desire to protect my community, advocate for those who need support, and create a safer future for the people I care about. Another passion that is very close to my heart is working with the autism community. Through my experience supporting children with autism, I have developed a deep appreciation for the unique strengths, perspectives, and potential of every individual. I am passionate about helping others develop meaningful skills, build confidence, and achieve goals that improve their quality of life. Being able to make a positive impact on children and families has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and has further strengthened my commitment to helping others. Beyond my career aspirations, music is a huge part of who I am. I have a deep love for EDM, raving, and attending music festivals with my husband. Music gives me a sense of freedom, connection, and joy, and some of my favorite memories have been made dancing under festival lights surrounded by people who share the same passion. Above all else, I strive to lead by example. Whether as a mother, a student, a wife, an advocate for the autism community, or a future criminal justice professional, I want my actions to reflect kindness, perseverance, integrity, and compassion. My goal is not only to make my son proud but to inspire those around me to chase their dreams, overcome challenges, and never stop growing. Every day, I work toward becoming the best version of myself—for my family, my community, and the future I am building.
